VALENTINO PARK CAR SHOW 2019

The fifth edition of the Valentino Park Car Show – the open-air car show with prototypes, supercars, collection models, and much more – is ready to kick off.

The 2019 edition of Turin’s open-air car show will take place over five busy and engaging days in the summer. After the huge success in 2018, which recorded about 600,000 visitors, this fifth edition is aiming at even higher numbers. The conditions for another huge success are all there.

Turin’s Valentino Park Car show is an open-air car exhibition, which takes place in one of Piedmont’s most famous landmarks by river Po. An exhibition of prototypes, new models, and previews that takes place in the yard of the Valentino Castle, attracting throngs of visitors, who can enjoy a futuristic open-air museum in early summer. The Valentino Park Car Show is a unique exhibition featuring futuristic cars in a large outdoor area with free admission. The aim is to attract even those who are curious to learn more about the world of cars, spreading this passion through meetups and sales events. The Valentino Park Car Show will take place in the park and will travel through the city. A unique exhibition that will turn the streets and main squares of Turin into a lively gathering place for prototypes, vintage and collection cars, and much more.

The 2019 Valentino Park Car Show is scheduled from 19 to 23 June until 24:00. The event has been slightly postponed compared to the previous years to wait for the end of the school year, so that families won’t miss the event.

Supercars, hypercars, vintage cars, and prototypes will be showcased at the Valentino park. Visitors will enjoy the busy and engaging programme. The opening Wednesday will probably be the busiest to start the event with a bang! Besides the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, the welcome tour of the vehicle manufacturers’ stands for the institutions, and the awards ceremony of major European collectors, the Valentino Park Car Show will open its gates to a wide audience at 14:00.

Supercar Night Parade.
A day full of major events, starting from the 2019 Car Design Award, which will be assigned by an international panel of journalists. This event is organised by Auto&Design magazine – which is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019 – in collaboration with Brembo. Another fun event is the Presidents Parade, which is reserved to presidents and CEOs of car manufacturers. But the highlight of the day will be the famous Supercar Night Parade. From 18:00 to 19:30, all collectors of prestigious sports and vintage cars, such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Maserati, Pagani, Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz AMG, BMW M series, Audi RS, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Lotus, and many others will be accredited and will receive the Welcome Gift Bag, containing stickers for the car and a “Supercar Owner” badge. The departure is scheduled at 21:00, when the cars will join those driven by the exhibitors’ presidents and CEOs to start the exclusive parade. The presidential parade, followed by the one led by journalists and collectors, will travel through the city centre up to the exhibition area of the Valentino park.

Valentino Park Grand Prix.
The event will continue on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 June through the weekend. In fact, Saturday will be dedicated to meetings and gatherings of collector clubs, with relative parades, while Sunday will reserve an intense grand finale. The Valentino Park Car Show will end with the Grand Prix. The 40 Km parade will take place on Sunday 23 June at 10:30 from Piazza Vittorio Veneto. It will go through the streets of the city centre, including via Roma, which will be closed to the traffic, the hills near Superga, up to the Royal Palace of Venaria, where lunch will take place. Besides private owners and clubs, the spotlight will be on prototypes, one-offs, and vehicles that have made the history of Motorsports.

A true car festival open to everyone, no matter the age, thanks to the free entrance and must-attend events all around Turin. A celebration of cars and a design festival all in one event.

Style, power, and sustainability are the keywords of the section dedicated to electric and hybrid cars, as well as the various conferences on reducing CO2 emissions organised by the Polytechnic of Torino.

This fifth edition is certainly set for success. In fact, the number of visitors is expected to grow by 30% compared to 2018.
Warm up the engines and… get ready for the show!
