CARNAUBA WAX, NATURAL SHINE.

Resorting to natural products, i.e. derived directly from what trees, plants and in general the vegetable world can provide us, is what often leads us to choose one product over another. This is because nowadays, more than ever, the need to express our ‘eco-friendly’ side also in the choices we make is increasingly essential from an ethical and moral point of view, also for new generations.
When it comes to boats, the sea and the ocean, the reference to a respectful approach towards our planet becomes even stronger. This is why Fra-Ber completely redesigned some of its products of the line designed for cleaning and taking care of boats – including Guizzo 1000ml, a water-repellent phosphate-free foam shampoo & polish used to manually wash all the outer surfaces of motor and non-motor boats, where we find a component of vegetable origin called Carnauba wax. What’s Carnauba? Carnauba is a wax, a natural product deriving from the leaves of some palm trees native to South America whose name comes directly from that of an indigenous population in Brazil.
This is a valuable substance, to the extent that it is also recognised as the ‘queen of waxes’ and is used in a number of fields, from the food industry to luxury cosmetics, as it gives products ‘brightening’ properties that provide, in the case of Guizzo, extraordinary shine to boat surfaces.
